The initial designs for the Jagdpanther were created in the fall of 1942. The purpose was to mount a 88MM PaK 43 gun on a self-propelled vehicle. The Panther chassis was chosen and the armored plating configuration was changed. Approximately 420 units were produced in 1944 and they proved highly effective as hunting tank killers. The Forces of Valor die cast series is created with the military enthusiast in mind. They feature precision engineering, with steel and plastic construction. With working treads, rotating turrets, elevating cannons, opening hatches and removable accessories, these vehicles are true to the real thing.
