Great Toy (2009-01-03)
I bought this for my 9 month old nephew and he loves it. His 2 year old sister also likes to play it too... I would recommend this toy to anyone looking for a toy for a toodler.
Indestructable (2009-01-02)
This toy is great! 1 year old Son got it as a gift and really enjoys it. He likes to throw things and has not done any damage to it yet. It has rubber corners so for now my floors are ok too. You can press a side of the cube and it will add a new instrament to the mix without restarting the music. I hate when toys start something new the second your child touches it. This one dosn't stop until the song is done unless you touch each instrament playing a 2nd time to turn it off. Love Love Love
Only down side is the flute and violin sound a lot like eachother.
Way too loud (2009-01-02)
Munchkin Mozart Magic Cube The older version of this toy had much better songs and in addition to that it's so hard to enjoy playing with this because it's painfully loud. Ridiculously loud.
Creative! (2009-01-01)
I bought this music cube because of the high ratings on it. I didn't expect much because it didn't look like it could do much. Our 1 year old doesn't really spend hours playing wtht the music cube but it is creative. It plays different instuments. One instrument can be played or all of them together which is neat. The music is soothing and not loud and annoying. The cube is very durable so it can be dropped many times and still play. Oh, the colors light up too, but hard to see in daylight. I still recommend this toy.
Great toy! Great sound! (2009-01-01)
Our son loves this toy. He is presently nine months old and although he doesn't fully understand the concept of turning various instruments on and off by touching the sides of the cube, he is still is entertained. This is a toy that will grow with him in the future as he begins to understand the different instruments concept. The music is electronic, but it it pleasing to the ear and there is good variety in both the songs and the different instrument sounds. The music is pleasing to adult ears as well, unlike many other musical toys on the market today. We like the cushy "points" on the cube, so there aren't sharp ends on this product. We purchased this toy for 19.99 here on Amazon (back in October), rather than for the 40 plus dollars listed now (December), so it is a good idea to price compare and try to bundle this with another product. Overall, great toy--highly recommended!
